Ms. Deborah Cherry

 GO Cougars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am blessed to be a Special Education teacher in the Collaborative Academic Transition Support (CATS) program. I currently teach Math and Science. I have been working in special education since 2007. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor's Degree in Science, within the field of Speech Pathology and Audiology. I became very passionate about working with students that have special needs after my daughter was diagnosed with Autism at age 3. In lue of furthering my education in the field of Speech Pathology, I decide to work in the school system as a para professional for Frisco ISD. During my 4 years as a para professional I realized that special education is where I belong; as my passion grew I found my purpose.  I decided to continue my education and I received my teaching certification. That has been the best decision I have ever made in my career.  I believe that being a parent and a teacher has given me great insight into this special community. I am very blessed to be part of such a wonderful group of teachers here at Clark High School. It is my promise to you that I will do my very best for your child.
