Degrees and Certifications:
BS Computer Engineering Certified in Math 9-12, Computer Science, and Technology Education PLTW Certified - Principles of Engineering
I was born and raised in Rowlett, Texas. After receiving my Computer Engineering degree from Texas A&M University, I joined the workforce as a Design Verification Engineer for Hewlett Packard. After several years in industry (including a 4 year hiatus in San Diego, California at a startup company), I decided to leave industry and focus on inspiring a new generation of Engineers. After teaching many years in another district, I moved to Plano ISD in 2014 and helped to develop the Senior year curriculum and experience at Academy High School. When Plano ISD announced that it was starting Computer Science at the High School campuses, I was excited to have the opportunity to transfer to Clark and create a new Computer Science program! In 2018, I was certified by Project Lead the Way (PLTW) to teach Engineering Science (Principles of Engineering).
