My name is Olivia "Annie" Gurski. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.A. in General Studies and M.Ed in Special Education with a focus in Autism Intervention. This is my 11th year teaching, 4th year at Clark HS. Previously, I taught at Wylie ISD in the structured classrooms at the high school and middle school levels.
I am in my sweet spot here at Clark, Applied English 1 (Resource)! My passion is to inspire each student to grow as scholars and find joy in reading and writing, no matter where they are at.
On a personal note, I live right here in Plano with my wonderful husband and 4 pups. My two daughters both graduated from Plano East and went on to higher education. In my free time, I enjoy indoor and outdoor gardening, hiking, and bicycling!
Parent Greeting for English I!
