Olivia "Annie" Gurski
My name is Olivia "Annie" Gurski. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.A. in General Studies and M.Ed in Special Education with a focus in Autism Intervention. This is my 11th year teaching, 4th year at Clark HS. Previously, I taught at Wylie ISD in the structured classrooms at the high school and middle school levels.
I am in my sweet spot here at Clark, teaching the joy of reading and writing in English 1! My passion has always been to inspire each student to find joy in reading and writing and help them to grow as scholars, no matter where they are at.
On a personal note, I live right here in Plano with my wonderful husband and 4 pups. My two daughters both graduated from Plano East and went on to higher education. I love gardening, indoor and out, hiking, and bicycling!
