It has been a true pleasure to advise student media for the past 14 years, of which 13 have been at Plano East. I have a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of North Texas and a master’s degree in journalism education from the University of Mizzouri. In addition to teaching at Plano East, I enjoy teaching at journalism workshops and have been an adjunct professor at the University of North Texas and am currently an adjunct communications professor for Southern New Hampshire University.  In my spare time, I practice yoga, run, write, take photographs, and spend time with my family and pets.
