Mrs. Burnham grew up in Midland, graduated with her BS in Mathematics from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in Odessa. She taught 6th grade in Taylor, Texas for two years while working on her MA in Mathematics from the University of Texas in Austin. She since then has been teaching Pre-Cal, AP Calculus, Dual Credit Statistics and College Algebra at Estacado High School and Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas. 

In 2014, My husband and I relocated to Plano when I was hired as a 4th year Mathematics Facilitator and ended up coaching the robotics team.   My passion is STEM Education and creating opportunities for learners to stretch themselves which makes the Academy the perfect fit.
