I've been employed with Plano ISD since 2011, so this is officially my 12th year of instruction at Plano West Senior High.  Prior to that, I taught in northern California at a private school.  I received my B.S. in Business Management from Biola University in 1989 with a minor in Biblical Studies.

I've lived in north Texas since 2003 but still have family in San Jose.  I've come to appreciate the four seasons and hospitality of the people here in the South. 

I teach Social Studies and a few other subjects in the special education department.  The teachers in my department truly care about the needs of our students and understand the importance of being "team players."

Away from school, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Leanne--who recently retired after teaching twenty-nine years at Sachse High School--my son, my two daughters and our four pets.  My personal interests include writing, reading and watching football.
