Mrs. Leah "Lorraine" Seawright
I am currently in my 32nd year of teaching. My first 15 years were taught in the Tulsa, Oklahoma suburb of Broken Arrow. I taught AP Biology, On-level & Honor's Chemistry, and Anatomy & Physiology during my years at Broken Arrow Senior High School for 11-12th grades. I came to Plano in January 2005. I have been teaching On-level & Honor's Chemistry since I joined PISD. I have been married for 43 years, have two grown daughters and 5 grand darlings. Teaching is my "calling" as I love children of all ages. You can depend on my hard work, patience, and ability to teach difficult material as I believe all students really can learn.

I have an open door policy during intervention time that occurs right after lunch, 1:05-1:35 pm; students have access to tutoring & makeup work by simply coming in during this time. Before and after school tutoring must be arranged the day before in case there is a conflict such as a faculty meeting or morning duty. I am always eager to help with tutoring as one on one time is time well spent for the student.
Please ask you child for access to Google Classroom; all the student needs to do is invite you to the page. This is where all information is streamed for each unit including what we did that current school day. Your child must be logged into mypisd to acess the Google Classroom.
