Mrs. Tracie Langford

It's great to be a McMillen Lion! I feel very honored to serve the students, parents and staff of McMillen High School as one of the Assistant Principals on this campus.  2020-2021 will be my 8th year on the McMillen campus, and I am excited to see what the new school year has in store for us.

I began my career as an educator in 1982. My first job was as a mathematics teacher at Paris High School in my hometown of Paris, TX. In 1991, I moved to the metroplex and became an employee of Plano ISD on the Williams High School campus. I served as a math teacher, team leader, department chair, campus math specialist, and behavior specialist before becoming an administrator. After serving as Administrative Intern at Williams for several years, I became an Assistant Principal here at McMillen in 2013.

I am married and have a son who was a 2020 graduate of Farmersville High School.  He will be continuing his education at the new Wylie Collin College campus in August 2020, and hopes to transfer to UTD to study Neuroscience after getting his basics out of the way.  My son was in band starting in 6th grade, so I am already missing being a Band Mom!  I enjoy spending time with my family (which includes five dogs), reading, and watching TV in my spare time.

I was so amazed by the way our students, staff, and parents met the challenge of the 2020 spring semester.  I know that we will rise to the occasion and work together to make this school year a meaningful and successful year for our families.

Please feel free to contact me if I may be of assistance.
