Welcome to another new year at Vines High School. I'm so excited to have your student in my class, and I can't wait to see how much they grow this year in tenth grade English. This is my first year teaching English at Vines. Previously, I taught seventh grade English at Haggard Middle School for five years, so I am really excited to have former students in my class this year. In 2013, I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin. Although my degrees are in art history and government, reading and writing are my passion. I especially like reading historical fiction and writing satire.  In my spare time, I love tending to my ever-growing collection of houseplants, parenting my French Bulldog, Hugo,  and watching movies. I also love food and am always on the hunt for new restaurants in Dallas.
