Mr. Byron Mack
My name is Byron Mack and this is my fifth year at Carpenter Middle School, my first two years I was a teachers aide and after graduating I moved on to become a special education teacher, which I am now in my third year of doing so. I currently teach Social Skills and CARE room, social skills is a class in the special education field that can help students learn different strategies that will help them positively interact with peers and adults in their daily living. CARE room is for students who have access and may need extra assistance with many different emotional and behavioral situations. I am also the 7th grade Head Football Coach and the 8th grade Head Basketball Coach. I am always here and dedicated to help any student reach their potential for independence and growth.
I was born and raised in Greenville, Texas. I went on to gradute from there and later attended the University of North Texas where I recieved my bachelors of Science in Integrative Studies. I have one nine year old son who is also a PISD student and many of your students have met before. In the limited free time that I do get, I like to play basketball and hang out with my son, who also has different sporting events on the weekends.
