Years in Education:

This is my 21st year. I started out as a bilingual second grade teacher in Arlington, TX and my career has taken me through many years of teaching including Kinder, 5th grade, and Spanish to elementary. I became a librarian in 2010 for seven years and tried out both middle school and elementary. We moved to Plano in 2015. When I first came to Hendrick I was the part time Spanish 8th grade teacher. This is my 4th year as the librarian at Hendrick. It has been a wonderful experience, challenging with all the changes that Covid has brought our way. Am looking forward to a fruitful, positive year.

Married to my childhood neighbor, and we have two amazing teenage daughters and a sweet, spoiled boxer. My oldest is a junior in college this year, and my youngest is a senior at Plano East.
