Dr. Patrick Davis
Hello and Welcome to Texas and United States History at Frankford Middle School.
Alllow me to introduce myself, I am Dr. Patrick Davis and I have been at Frankford for 19 years. I have over 30 years of teaching experience, having taught at the middle school, high school, and collegiate level. At Frankford I teach Texas History and U. S. History. I also teach U.S. History at Collin College. I am a native Texan, I was raised in Tyler, Texas, where I developed a love for history, fishing, hunting, and photography. My wife and I have called Plano home for the last 24 years and we have raised two children who attended and graduated from Plano schools. I am here to help students understand the importance of history and how the study of it will help develop the skills needed to function in a democratic society.
Teaching Philosoph, My Why:
I became a teacher out of a love for history and government and my desire to share this knowledge with my students as they learn to become productive members of our democratic society. As I am a first generation college graduate, I wanted to share my experiences with my students and their families and let them know that they too can achieve their goals.
