Mrs. Rebecca Cronk

Mrs. Cronk is currently in her 27th year of teaching band. She is originally from Libertyville Illinois and came to Texas in 1989 upon receiving a trumpet scholarship from the University of North Texas where she graduated with a Bachelors of Music Education in 1992. 

She is married and has two children Morgan (age 21) and Trevor (age 16) two dogs (Lyla and Sam), and a cat named Bugs (short for Bugs Bunny). Her hobbies include trumpet playing, road cycling, and weight lifting. 

Mrs. Cronk was assistant director of bands at Heritage Middle School in the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD from 1992-2005. During her time there her bands received consecutive 'superior" ratings at UIL concert and sight reading contest. She also recieved the PTA 'Friend of Students" award in 2003.   Mrs. Cronk took the position of head director of bands at Frankford Midle school in 2004 and is currently in her 14th year here at Frankford. She is very passionate about teaching music and is excited about the 2018/2019 school year!
