I am so excited to be sharing my love for knowledge and learning in PACE here at Murphy Middle. I have several years of educational experience under my belt from ages 2 to 18 in many different capacities, both as an educator and a volunteer.  

I attended the University of Texas at Dallas graduating cum laude and became certified to teach 4th - 8th grade. My first year as a teacher was at Boggess Elementary teaching 5th grade, which has led me here to my dream job of teaching middle school! This will be my third year teaching at MMS. I have taught both science and AVID in 6th and 7th grade. In addition to teaching PACE, I am also one of the Cheer Sponsors. GO MAVERICKS!

When I am not in the classroom, I spend my time with my husband and two teenage boys. My oldest is a senior at Plano East and my youngest is a sophomore at McMillen. They play soccer competitively year round. Both of my boys also play soccer for Plano East. We are avid soccer fans! So, if we are not on a field, we are watching soccer on television, going to professional games, reading about it or playing in our spare time.
