Ms. Nancy Pierce
I'm originally from Oklahoma.
I graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. I then graduated from Oklahoma State University with a teaching certificate, English endorsement and a Master of Science in Education in Curriculum and Instruction.
I taught 5th grade for 15 years, eleven years in Oklahoma and four years in PISD at Stinson Elementary. For two years, I taught 6th grade ELA/PACE at Murphy and the rest of my time here has been spent in 6th grade ELA. This is my 10th year at Murphy Middle School.
I have two children. Tyler my son is 25 and lives in Temple, Texas. He attended Texas A&M and was in the Corps of Cadets. Kaitlyn, my daughter is 21 and a Junior at Texas A&M in College Station. She is an Education major. She is also a dance teacher at Expressions Dance in College Station. Both of my children attended MMS and Plano East.
I love all things Disney, going to the gym everyday, watching movies, shopping with my daughter, hanging out with my friends, watching football (college and pro), reading, attending church on Sundays and traveling. I'm also an avid user of Young Living Essential Oils and love exploring the health benefits.
