Dr. Jefferie Thielbar

I served in the USMC, enlisting in 1976 and receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1979.  I then served in the Wyoming National Guard until 2003.  I graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Masters Degree from the College of Health Sciences.  I was a graduate assistant and specialized in Psycho-Motor Development having worked both at the University and at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center.  I started teaching Biology in Wyoming and taught for 10 years before getting my principal certificate from Chadron State College.  I served as a high school principal in both Wyoming and Alaska while earning my doctorate degree in Education Leadership from the University of Wyoming in 2010.  I was the Superintendent of Skagway Schools from 2010 - 2013.  So far, I have been teaching science for 18 years, been a high school principal for 10 years and a school superintendent for 3 years.  This year is my 31th year in education and my 6th year at Plano ISD.  Service to my community and my students is my top priority.

Tutorial Schedule

  • Tutorials are available at the locations below.  AM tutorials are from 7:45 - 8:20 and students must have a pass from their teacher.  PM tutorials are from 3:35 - 4:30 and students must remain in the tutorial until the end.
