• I have lived in 6 states; the last 29 years have been in Plano. With a varied background in government, banking, corporate, adult-education and self-employment, I bring practical experience to curriculum units focusing on college and careers. I have international experience in creating, instructing and judging competitions in sugar arts and chocolate work.

I began my PISD career teaching 6th grade Science at Murphy MS and transferred to Otto MS when it opened in 2010. I am currently enjoying the challenge of teaching classes under the Family Consumer Science Umbrella.

One of my teaching goals is to form a bridge from academic concepts to practical and real-life application.
