Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Rachel Bobbitt
As a Plano ISD graduate, I am proud to represent this district. I started my career in 2002 at Plano West Senior High working in the centralized program for students with autism. Caring for young people had always been something I enjoyed but it was there that I found my passion for teaching. Building meaningful relationships with my students was critical to their success and seeing their accomplishments gave me hope for their future. After a few years I moved to Dooley Elementary. In 2004, our team was given the "Angel Award" by the Autism Society of Collin County for our hard work and dedication to our students and their families. Throughout my career I've continued to grow as an educator in different classrooms at different campuses. My continued dedication to students lead me to Harrington Elementary where I've worked in a campus based self-contained classroom for the past 7 years. Over 18 years I have served this district and it is my honor to continue to put children at the forfront of what I think and do. I am Plano ISD proud!
