Professional School Counselor

I began my career as a Plano ISD School Counselor in the fall of 2004. During my first three years in Plano, I was one of two counselors at Wyatt Elementary School. After 3 years, I came to Dooley and have been a Dooley Dragon ever since. Before coming to PISD, I taught both 3rd and 4th grades at Birmingham Elementary School in Wylie, Texas.

I graduated from Texas A & M at Commerce (at that time it was still called East Texas State University) with my BS in Elementary Education/English. Later, I went back and earned a Master’s Degree in School Counseling at Amberton University, and a Principal Certificate from Dallas Baptist University. I also earned a certificate in Conflict Resolution from El Centro College. I am still taking classes so, as you can see, I love to learn!

I can’t imagine doing anything other than being a school counselor in Plano ISD. I enjoy working with the community, our students and their families. We are  Dooley Dragons, Forevermore!
