Teaching History: I have been in education for thirty years. I taught second grade in Irving ISD, Kindergarten in Coppell ISD, was the Director of a Pre-school in Coppell for sixteen years, and this will be my sixth year teaching at Huffman.

Family: My husband is George. I have two children, Tom & Carleeanna. Tom graduated from the University of Arkansas. He currently lives and works in Dallas. Carleeanna is a junior at Texas Tech. Both of them attended Plano Schools and graduated from Plano West.  

Interests/Hobbies Outside of School: Traveling, reading, spending time with friends and family

Why did you want to start the IB PYP at Huffman? I wanted the opportunity to help my students become inquirers and encourage life long learning.
