This is my 7th year as a Special Education teacher at Mathews! I’m originally from the suburbs of Chicago; so naturally, a few of my favorite things are deep-dish pizza, the Chicago Bulls, and any excuse to “bundle up” in a scarf (which does not happen too often in Texas).
I graduated in 2012 from Indiana Wesleyan University with a double major in Elementary Education and Special Education. I have been a special education teacher for nine years. I taught for three years in Chicago and six in Plano. I am very passionate about supporting the academic, social, and emotional needs of all my students!
When I am not at school, you can find me spending time with family or at Magnolia Market, buying all of the home décor, and standing in line for a cupcake.
