Mrs. Xaymara Ortiz

Hi!

My name is Xaymara Ortiz and this is my fourth year teaching 1st grade at Daffron! I’ve taught middle school, high school and now, elementary school. This will be my 7th year teaching elementary students and I enjoy it the most. I am passionate about teaching my students become independent learners, and to instill the love for learning. My goal is to empower my students to be bilingual, and bi-literate. 


 
After school and on weekends, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love to kayak, visit new places, and play board games. I also enjoy reading, listening to music, and singing as loud as I can when no one is around :D.
