I attended school in Lawton, Oklahoma. I graduated from Cameron University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and I have a Master’s degree in Library Science from Texas Woman’s University. This is my 24th year in education, and my 22nd in Plano ISD. I have taught third and fourth grade and I have been at Haggar as the librarian for 14 years. I have been married for 27 years to my wonderful husband, Jerry (also a PISD teacher). We have one son. We are a Disney family, so we like to travel there as much as we can.  During my free time, I like quilting, crafting, spending time with my family, watching my favorite shows, and of course, reading.
