Miss Molly Davis

I feel so blessed to be a part of the Haun Husky community. This school feels like home to me and it's all because of the amazing staff, families, and children that make it up. I started my teaching career in Oklahoma teaching first grade and moved to Haun in 2013 to teach kindergarten. I began teaching PACE (Plano Academic and Creative Education) classes and working as a gifted specialist in 2019. I have a passion for helping students become risk-takers, problem-solvers, and life-long learners.

In my free time I like to read, go to movies, spend time with family and friends, bake, craft, and travel. I also have a sweet poodle named Charlie that I would love to show you pictures of!

Please feel free to email any time or request a scheduled phone call time outside of my office hours.

    • What is PACE?

PACE stands for Plano Academic and Creative Education and is the cornerstone of the district's gifted and talented education program serving students in kindergarten through 12th grade. PACE is more than a course; it is a motivating and challenging experience that lasts over multiple years of a student's education. The PACE program provides a learning environment that nurtures the unique academic and social-emotional needs of students requiring gifted and talented services.

Students participate in PACE based upon the results of standardized tests and observation/performance in the classroom. Parents, teachers, and/or students may make referrals for PACE assessment by completing the appropriate grade level referral form by the stated deadline. No referral is declined unless it is unsigned by a parent or submitted after the published deadline. Elementary students are assessed late in the first semester for services beginning in January.

During this time, students are exposed to district designed curriculum based on the academic and developmental needs and attributes of the individual.
