Ms. Cheryl Gee

Ms. Gee grew up in Duncan, Oklahoma, where she was a student library worker, yearbook and newspaper editor for her high school.

Ms. Gee received her Bachelor of Science degree in Library Science Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She also did graduate studies in Instructional Technology at UCO and the University of Oklahoma. Ms. Gee now has a Masters of Library Science from Texas Woman's University. She has been a school librarian in Oklahoma, Hawaii and Texas, where she became the Stinson Librarian in 2001.

Ms. Gee was nominated as Stinson's Teacher of the Year in 2006, and was selected as Plano ISD's ATPE Professional Support Teacher of the Year in 2005.

Ms. Gee works with Destination Imagination NeXT Region as an Instant Challenge appraiser. She is the chapter president of Mu Beta chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, the international honor society of key women educators.
