After graduating from UNT, I began my first teaching job in Richardson ISD.  I taught some fantastic students alongside some wonderful teachers there for four years. I spent the following 8 years as a stay at home mom with my two kids.  When they were old enough, they became Boggess Bengals and I thought it was such a great place to be that I decided to reignite my teaching career as a Boggess Bengal as well! I've been teaching second grade at Boggess since 2009.  I love second grade, the wonderful team I get to work with, and the amazing students and supportive parents I have the pleasure of serving at Boggess.
