I was born and raised in Texas but have had the opportunity to live and work in several states. I graduated from Abilene Christian University with a bachelors in Speech-Language Pathology and continued my education at Texas Women’s University receiving a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences in Disorders. I have my Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (AHSA) and am licensed in the state of Texas.
I very excited to be starting my 6th year at Pearson. I have worked in a variety of classrooms here at Pearson and am currently serving as the Speech-Language Pathologist team leader as well as working in the Active Learning Classroom, the Experiential Learning Classroom and the Communication Classroom. I have worked with a variety of communication disorders and have a passion for Augmentive and Assistive Technology in order to give each and every child a voice and the ability to communicate.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kids who keep me very busy and entertained.
