I have always loved teaching! When I was a little girl, I would drive my friends and siblings crazy with always wanting to play school in the summer. Of course I was the teacher! I have been teaching now (not including those summers) for 18 years and I am still loving it. 

I have taught many subjects and grade levels over the years, including 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade science. I have spent the majority of my years in middle school science - my favorite place to be!

Away from school, I love to travel with my family. On our travels we love to meet the people of the country/place we are staying and eat the local cuisine. Because of this I am also a HUGE fan of Top Chef and have never missed a season. Food is fabulous! One of our favorite places to travel is South and Central America. I also love to read, hike, camp, run and do anything outdoors. My favorite place of peace is the mountains. 

My family consists of two teenagers, two dogs and a wonderful husband.
