I am the 4th grade monolingual math teacher at Mendenhall Elementary. I previously taught here at Mendenhall last year as the 5th grade monolingual math teacher. The years prior to that I taught 6th grade math in Mineral Wells ISD for one year and at a private school in Dallas for another year. I graduated college in 2016 from Tarleton State University where I completed my education degree. This is my second year to work for Plano ISD, but not my first year to live near Plano ISD. I was born and raised in the Garland area, and I grew up going to Garland ISD schools. My beautiful wife Meghan and I have been married for two years. I am so excited for what this year beholds. I absolutely love math and I am very aware that the majority of kids do not care for math. I’m excited for the opportunity to present math in new ways which I hope breaks down those walls. Not only do I love math and love to teach math, but I love kids. I was called by God to teach not just to teach the content but to leave an impact on students lives. My goal this year is not only that each child grows in content knowledge but that each child grows as a person.
