Hello!

I teach 6th grade ELAR-Honors, and 8th grade English, honors and on-level. My hope is not only that I can inspire your student to embrace reading and writing, but to also encourage them to think critically about the world around them and their place in it. I love the books that we read and the writing projects in eighth grade. It is my sincere hope that your student will, too. Not only do I teach, I am a wife and mother. My family and I moved here after my husband's military career ended in 2017. Although I have been all over the country and to different parts of the world, I am happy to call Plano home. I especially love Haggard! The staff, students and families are awesome.

As a parent, I have been where you are. I have four children; two are out of college, the other two are Haggard Eagles.I know that middle school is both scary and amazing.
