PESH Teacher Named Finalist for Tech Titans Award

Plano East Senior High School Teacher Wesley Tyree has been named a finalist for the 2026 Tech Titans of the Future Award by Tech Titans, the Technology Association for North Texas.
Tyree, a math teacher and color guard director, is one of four finalists for the high school category. The Tech Titan of the Future - High School Award recognizes a local high school math or science teacher or administrator who develops and implements an innovative teaching technique or program inspiring students to pursue science, technology, engineering or math.
He will be recognized at the 2026 Tech Titans Awards on Friday, August 28 at the Dallas/Plano Marriott Legacy Town Center.
“We are very proud to have Mr. Tyree educating our students,” said Plano East Senior High School Principal David Jones. “ He is passionate, creative, hardworking and cares about their success.”
Tech Titans is the largest technology trade association in Texas, representing a quarter of a million employees through its 200+ member companies. Members include a wide group of technology leaders from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.
