Two Plano ISD Schools Earn TEPSA Student Leadership Award

Two Plano ISD schools are recipients of the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) 2025-2026 Student Leadership Awards.
This prestigious award celebrates PK-8 student leadership teams that have made an extraordinary impact on their school communities through their dedicated leadership and service. These inspiring young leaders have taken part in several different initiatives, such as:
- Championing literacy through engaging reading programs
- Spearheading kindness campaigns
- Paying tribute to teachers, staff and veterans
- Mentoring younger students through leadership activities
- Crafting projects that ignite school spirit
- Offering support to local families and community organizations

Hedgcoxe Elementary
Sigler Elementary
These schools are two of only 167 across Texas to earn the award. The achievements of these young leaders will be celebrated during TEPSA’s Student Leadership Workshops this fall.
