2018-19 Calendar Options, Community Input Survey Is Open
With the September 5 board meeting, the board of trustees has begun work on the 2018-19 academic calendar with two calendar drafts presented for review. A Community Input Survey regarding these drafts is active until November 1. Please review Draft A and Draft B and provide feedback on your preferred calendar. Please use the comments section of the survey to provide additional input, and take a look at our Calendar FAQ for more information.
Draft A: Start date of Monday, August 13 with the school year ending on May 24.
Draft B: Start date of Monday, August 15 and an end of school date of May 29.
The calendar approval timeline is as follows.

9/7/2017 Share messaging for campus eNews
9/11/2017 Share drafts and input opportunity via district eNews

9/26/2017 Gather input from Faculty Council 10/2/2017. Share drafts and input opportunity via district eNews
10/3/2017 Gather input from PTA Council board & request information be posted on the PTA Council website at www.planopta.org
