Oct. 20, 2017 - 33 Seniors Named Finalists by the College Board's National Hispanic Recognition Program

Thirty-three Plano ISD's seniors have earned top ranking as finalists through the College Board's Class of 2018 National Hispanic Scholars Program.

Yearly, the program honors about 5,000 of the nearly 250,000 Hispanic/Latino juniors who take the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. The program is an academic honor that can be included on college applications. Colleges do use the program to identify academically exceptional Hispanic/Latino students.
