Feb. 5, 2017 - RSVP Member Luncheon at the Plano East Bistro

 

On January 30, RSVP members were treated to a free luncheon at the Plano East Bistro. Thirty-five members dined on delicious food prepared and served by Plano East students. The menu included: a mixed greens salad with tomatoes, shaved red onion, sliced cucumbers and balsamic vinaigrette; sautéed mushrooms; sautéed beef with herbed compound butter; whipped sweet potatoes; sautéed broccoli; chocolate mousse and raspberry iced tea.

RSVP is a program created by Plano ISD for community members who are 65 years of age and above. This free membership program allows for free or reduced admission to most Plano ISD sporting and fine arts events (excluding playoff games and non-school events held in school facilities). Members also have access to other district events and special learning opportunities throughout the year. They will receive a monthly calendar of events along with details on other membership perks such as reserved seating and parking if available.
