March 21, 2018 - Communications Department Earns Star Awards from Texas School Public Relations Association

Presented in February during the Texas School Public Relations Association's (TSPRA) annual conference, STAR awards provide recognition for outstanding communications efforts by Texas schools districts.

The Plano ISD communications team earned nine gold star awards for work that not only achieved its purpose with noticeable creativity, craft and skill, but in the opinion of the judges, did so in an exceptional way. Additionally, three best in category awards for work were also earned for work that stands out from all the others in its division for its exceptional creativity and quality.

Plano ISD also earned five silver stars and one bronze star for exceptional work: 2016 Annual Report; Constitution Day: Video; On The Line: English Language Arts Summer Theatre Camp Video; Teacher of the Year 2016 Profile - Bryan Yee: Video; Under the Big Top: Strong Teachers. Strong Students Video; and the CORE Store Grand Opening News Release.
