The Texas Association for Pupil Transportation (TAPT) in partnership with the Brandon Billingsley Memorial Scholarship Foundation, have awarded Gulledge Elementary student Adhesh Naveen a $100 scholarship for placing second in Division 1 of the School Bus Safety Poster Contest. After winning first place in the Plano ISD contest, his poster proceeded forward and won 1st place in the Region 10 contest, finally second place in the state contest. 

Established several years ago, the TAPT School Bus Safety Poster contest aims to increase awareness regarding school transportation practices and procedures. This contest affords the opportunity for students at all grade levels to showcase their creativity and artistic talents for a chance at winning a scholarship.
