Plano ISD is honored to have two students named to the 35th Class of Coca-Cola Scholars!

Shriya Bhat from Plano East Senior High and Madhalasa Iyer from Plano Senior High were two of the 150 students nationwide to be selected as Coca-Cola Scholars, out of more than 91,000 applications for this prestigious award. Less than 1/6th of 1 percent of applicants were chosen. They will each receive a $20,000 college scholarship and join more than 6,750 Coca-Cola Scholar alumni. Recipients were chosen for their exemplary leadership, service and academics, who have positively affected others in their communities.

Scholars will attend Coca-Cola Scholars Weekend in Atlanta from April 13-16, 2023, where they will be the guests of honor at the 35th annual Coca-Cola Scholars Banquet and participate in the Coca-Cola Scholars Leadership Development Institute facilitated by program alumni.
