Thursday, July 6, 2023
It has been quite a journey for Plano Senior High alumnus Brandon Aubrey, and now a new chapter will be written for the former Wildcat!
On Thursday, Aubrey signed with the Dallas Cowboys to compete for the starting kicker job. Aubrey most recently spent two years with the Birmingham Stallions of the United States Football League and helped them to two straight championships.

Aubrey is a 2013 graduate and was a star soccer player for the Wildcats. He played four years at Notre Dame, totaling 15 goals in 76 appearances as a defender. He was then drafted 21st overall in Major League Soccer's SuperDraft by Toronto FC in 2017 and ended his soccer career in 2018.
Four years later, Aubrey signed with the upstart Stallions and quickly became one of the league's top kickers, earning USFL honors in 2022 and leading the team to two championships. Last season, he converted 14 of 15 field goals and all 35 PATs.
Aubrey will compete for the kicker job with Tristan Vizcaino at training camp, which begins July 24 in Oxnard, California.
We are Plano ISD proud of you, Brandon, and will be cheering you on all the way!
