Texas Success Initiative Assessment

Plano ISD is excited to offer students the opportunity to take the Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA). This test is designed as a way to show Texas colleges and universities that students are college ready. Additionally, students who meet designated scores are considered “TSI Met” by universities, colleges and community-colleges and will not be required to take intervention courses when enrolling their first year.
The TSIA is for students who:
- Are interested in taking a dual credit course in the 2021-22 school year
- Seniors who have not taken the SAT or ACT
- Seniors who took the SAT or ACT and scored lower than the college-ready standards
Testing is available on all 9-12 campuses on a variety of dates this spring. Details about TSIA scores and links other resources can be found on this website:
