Dear Jasper Wolves,

April marks the designated month for state testing across all Plano ISD high school campuses. On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, all Jasper students will take the English 1 and English 2 STAAR EOC assessments. The bell schedule for the EOC assessments throughout April has been posted on the Jasper High School website, along with the specific testing dates for all STAAR EOC assessments.

In preparation for testing, students are required to bring their fully charged Chromebook, charger, pencils, highlighters, and ID badge. Additionally, students will need to pack their lunch, as lunch will be served in the testing rooms. Please note that electronic devices, including cell phones, e-readers, and smartwatches, are not permitted in the testing environment. Students are encouraged to bring a book to read upon completion of their test.

Attendance is mandatory for all 9th and 10th-grade students. Those not participating in the EOC assessments or AP review will engage in alternative enrichment activities. Furthermore, the campus will be closed to visitors on testing days. Consequently, if you plan to deliver your child's lunch, please ensure it is brought to school with them on testing day, as drop-offs will not be permitted.

If your child has a conflicting appointment on any of the testing days, we encourage you to reschedule it, if possible. We kindly request that parents refrain from picking up students early on testing days unless there is an absolute emergency. Students who are ill should not attend school on testing days; please adhere to district guidelines for illness and keep your child at home if necessary. There will be make-up testing days available for students who were absent on the scheduled testing day.
