Have you heard about Wellness Wednesday?

Wellness Wednesday is a day when people take time out for themselves to focus on their well-being. It's a day where you can do things that make you happy and healthy, like taking a walk in nature, meditating, practicing yoga, or reading. It's about developing healthy habits that will improve your life overall. Wellness Wednesday is also a great way to make it through the hump day of the week.

 

Wellness is important because it helps you to maintain a balance in your life. It's about taking care of yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally. When you're well, you're able to function at your best and enjoy your life more fully. Wellness is also important because it can help prevent illness and disease which can sustain your health in the long run.

When you make your health and wellness a priority in your life you will see the benefits in your personal life, as well as your professional/academic life that can help you create a work-life balance. The aim is to maintain your overall health and wellness so you can live a long, happy, and productive life.

Academy Staff has been observing Wellness Wednesday by wearing “comfy” clothes. I.e.: yoga pants, sweatshirt, etc., as well as, encouraging each other to eat healthy.
