We’re grateful to Sophie T. Stern, Northwestern University Speech Team advisor, for hosting.
We’re still not finished, though.
We’re very excited to have nine Jasper students, including four ninth graders, competing in person at the 2022 National Speech and Debate Tournament, June 12-18 in Louisville, KY: Arrman Kapoor and Anuj Lohtia in Public Forum Debate, Tishya Banka and Evelyn Ding in Congressional Debate, Andy Qin in International Extemporaneous Speaking, Albert Jiang and Katherine Lee in U.S. Extemporaneous Speaking, and Pranathi Beeram and Jiaxi He in Humorous Interpretation. One more Jasper qualifier, Prisha Vithalani, is not able to go to Louisville, but will compete June 2-4 in Congressional Debate as a supplemental online event.
