Instructional Plans

Senate Bill 12 of the 89th Texas Legislature requires all districts to post instructional plans for parents to access.

Instructional plans for each course offered in Plano ISD are available through these web pages and are organized by content area.  (To translate this content, use the Translate Menu button. )

Plano ISD is committed to providing transparency and ensuring parental access to educational resources. 

Please be advised that parents or guardians of a student enrolled in our district are entitled to review--in addition to the instructional plans provided--the teaching materials, instructional materials, and other teaching aids used in their child's classroom (Texas Education Code Chapter 26).

Many instructional materials are readily available through each student's digital webdesk. We encourage parents and guardians to utilize this convenient resource. 

Parents or guardians may review instructional materials used in their child’s classes, by submitting a request to their child’s teacher. Teachers will make these materials available for review as provided by law. For more information on the process for reviewing instructional materials, parents and guardians may contact the child's school administration.
