Steps to Get Started

The student must be enrolled in Plano ISD and have a student ID number and be enrolled in Pre-K through 5th grade.

All new and returning students are required to complete registration each year.

Families (parents or legal guardians) interested in future placement must complete the Child Care Interest Form.

The parent or guardian completing the application is the individual who has primary access to the account and responsible for account management and payment.

Submitting an Interest Form does not guarantee enrollment or reserve a space in the program. Your child's information will be reviewed and added to the waitlist.

When a spot becomes available that meets your requested needs, Child Care Services will contact you with next steps to complete the enrollment process.

Student is tracked as a prospective enrollment until a space becomes available. Families are contacted when openings occur. The family status remains pending until an offer is made and enrollment steps are completed.

Family is contacted with next steps to complete the enrollment process through Brightwheel including required enrollment forms, agreements, and payments. Enrollment is finalized when all required documentation is completed and Child Care Services confirms placement.

Families are responsible for keeping their contact information current while waiting for an available space.

Placement availability varies by site and is dependent on each site's capacity, current enrollment and available openings.
