Student Management

The Student Management Department oversees student discipline and behavior management in accordance with the Texas Education Code, the Student Code of Conduct, and district policy. Our team works with campus administrators to ensure consistent, fair application of behavioral expectations across all Plano ISD campuses. Families should contact their campus administration as a first step; for additional assistance, please reach out to the Director of Student Management at jana.sandall@pisd.edu or 469-752-2280.

Student Code of Conduct

Plano ISD's Student Code of Conduct provides methods and options for managing students in the classroom and on school grounds, disciplining students, and preventing and intervening in student discipline problems. The code of conduct can be found below.

Student Handbook

The Student Handbook is designed to align with law, board-adopted policy, and the Student Code of Conduct.  The Student Handbook provides a general overview but is not meant to be a complete statement of all policies, procedures, or rules in any given circumstance.
