The summer program is not mandatory. This is an available summer learning opportunity meant to reteach, review, and reinforce skills and learning topics.  We understand that many families may already have summer plans.  Participation is optional.

No, receiving this invitation letter does not mean your student is being held back.  

Questions regarding grade-level promotion are determined by your child's home campus based on multiple factors. Please contact your child's home campus for specific information regarding your student's academic status and promotion.

If you would like to review your child's scores or discuss their academic performance, please contact your child's home campus.  They will be able to provide detailed information and answer any questions you may have. 

The summer program is not mandatory. Questions regarding grade-level promotion are based on your child's individual academic record, and I do not have access to that information.
