Program Description

• This program is designed to serve as an academic bridge for the next school year by providing targeted, grade-level instruction for the development of skills in English (reading/writing), math, science, and social studies.

Eligible Students

• Students are recommended for this program based on state and local assessments.

Dates & Times

• JULY 6 - 17, 2026 (Monday - Friday)
• 9:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.

Locations

• Hendrick Middle School  (All program students will attend here.)

Cost

• There is no cost to attend the summer school program.

Meals

• Breakfast and lunch are provided for free to all students.

Transportation

• Busing is provided from the students’ neighborhood middle school campus.
• Please keep in mind that the neighborhood campus may not be the campus the student attends during the school year. 
• Summer bus routes will be posted in May 2026.

Registration

• Students who need to attend will be contacted by their Home Campus by early March 2026.
  • Closes: Completed Invitation Letters should be returned to home campuses by Thursday, April 2, 2026.
• 2nd Round of Invitations based on STAAR scores: Letters emailed to parents on June 2, 2026
  • Must complete Registration Form in Skyward Family Access.
  • Closes: Sunday, June 14, 2026
