I am excited to be your child’s librarian! I feel honored to join the Forman Team for this Legacy Year. It’s going to be the BEST school year ever!

I am so thankful to have met and married my college sweetheart. My husband and I live in McKinney and we have two daughters, who are our pride and joy. Our oldest daughter is a McKinney elementary teacher, and our youngest daughter attends ACU.

I love reading. I am usually reading at least two books at one time. I also enjoy walking outside, yoga, HGTV, and spending time with family. And I am a big ACU fan!

I have several years experience as an elementary educator … first as a classroom teacher and thirteen years as a school librarian. My goal is to encourage every student to reach their reading potential, as well as to foster each student’s love for reading! 

It is my absolute joy to see students get thrilled about reading! This infectious excitement comes when a student finds the right genre, or the right book, or maybe the right topic for them. Then watch their reading confidence soar! Being a part of this AMAZING lifelong learning is definitely one of the greatest rewards of being a librarian!
