I have been teaching for 18 years. I grew up here in Plano and actually attended Forman as a student. I am also a graduate of Plano East Senior High and Texas A&M University-Commerce. I am married and have two children, Dillon, who has his Master's degree in Sport Management from Texas A&M University, and Alyssa, who is an Exercise Physiology major at Texas Woman's University in Denton. They also attended Forman and are Plano East Graduates.

As of May 25, 2023, I am now a grandma to a precious baby girl. In my spare time I enjoy reading, traveling and watching my husband and kids play soccer and, of course, playing with my new granddaughter. I love teaching and am excited about a great year.
